Emina Creamy Tint Shade 01 Brick Town Review + UPDATE

We all know that lip products are so tempting to have and to try, right? Although I don't have many lip products with me, I agree that one lipstick is never enough. Today, I would like to share my experience wearing a lip product from Emina, which is Emina Creamy Tint. Keep on reading!

I bought this lip cream for the sake of enjoying the 20% discount of makeup products at Guardian. I was thinking, "This is a good chance to bring another product to my vanity," but I didn't want to purchase something expensive, so I decided to purchase Emina Creamy Tint because it's still affordable for me. I chose the shade Brick Town because the beauty advisor recommended this shade. She also said that this is the most popular shade of Emina Creamy Tint. The name itself also made me curious. Is it a lip tint or a lip cream? Anyway, let's finish the chit-chat and jump to the review instead!

About Emina Creamy Tint

Creamy Tint is one of various lip products by Emina that launched on September 2019. Emina Creamy Tint has 5 shades, which are Brick Town, Sunbeam, Peach Crush, Wild Berry, and Cherry Soda. 

Packaging

The packaging is undeniably cute! The box is decorated with red brick pattern as the shade itself. When it comes to the under side of the box, we will see the BPOM number, production code, and expired date.

The bottle itself is adorable as well. It's short and covered with peach color. There is also a transparent bottom part, so we can see how much product that left in the bottle. The content of this lip cream/tint is 3.6 gram. It's quite a little amount for a lip cream.

Emina Creamy Tint comes with waterdrop applicator. It's a new thing to see since usually lip creams have the doe-foot shaped applicator. The applicator glides smoothly on my lips.

One thing that surprised me is the absence of information of  the shade and its number at the bottom of the bottle since every Emina lip products are usually equipped with this kind of information.

Ingredients+Claim

Emina Creamy Tint has a detailed information about its claim. Emina claims that this is a lip tint with a creamy texture. It will not make our lips dry because it contains avocado oil. Emina also claims that it has a light texture and matte finish. Emina's official website also states that this creamy tint will give us stained color and can last for 8 hours.

Here comes to the left side of the box, which is the ingredients. When I see the ingredients list, there are also jojoba oil, sunflower extract, macadamia oil, and honey extract. Although it contains some oils, it has a light texture.

Swatch/Performance

When I swatched this lip tint on my hand, it has a red color with a hint of brown.

When I apply it on my lips, it becomes a deep red color with brown hint (in this picture it appears more mauve-ish, but in reality, it's more reddish). It looks a bit intense on my lips, but I love it because this creamy tint really enhances my effortless makeup routine. In my opinion, the shade Brick Town is a versatile shade. You can use it for daily occasion or special occasion. Then, this lip tint sets really fast and it is not sticky.

How about the performance? Does it really last for 8 hours? For me, it lasts for 8 hours if I don't eat oily food. Then, I felt that this lip tint is transferred (but not that much) when I drank and when I ate something oily, for example nasi balap. For the texture, it is really light and creamy as it claims. Emina Creamy Tint also gives the matte finish. However, the color doesn't stain and this feels more like lip cream than lip tint. Also, although it contains oils, this lip tint slightly dries my lips, so I need to apply a thin layer of lip balm.

So, what I like about Emina Creamy Tint:
+ it's affordable, only IDR 44,000!
+ the shade is pretty and versatile
+ the texture are light and creamy
+ it sets really fast
+ the applicator glides smoothly on my lips
+ it doesn't need a big room in your makeup pouch

Now, what I don't like about Emina Creamy Tint:
- it is a bit drying for my lips, so I need to apply lip balm before applying this lip tint
- it's not a transferproof lip product

Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint #03 Pink On Point! Review

Sekarang ini, lip product banyak banget macamnya, mulai dari lipstick, lipgloss, lip cream, lip tint, sampai lip cushion. Nah, pada kesempatan kali ini, aku mau bahas soal lip tint. Hasil akhir yang natural dan ketahanannya membuat lip tint banyak digemari. Selain itu, lip tint juga bisa diaplikasikan sebagai blush on. Semakin menghemat waktu berdandan kita, bukan? Biasanya kita  menemukan lip tint di produk-produk makeup Korea. Namun, saat ini produk lokal pun juga berlomba-lomba mengeluarkan koleksi lip tintnya. Lip tint yang mau aku review ini yaitu Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint #03 Pink On Point! Ini adalah lip tint pertamaku, fellas. Jadi gimana kesanku menggunakan lip tint ini? Keep reading ya! PACKAGING

Dusnya memiliki warna dasar putih dengan aksen magenta yang cukup dominan. Di aksen magenta itu, tertulis nama produk dan shadenya. Kemudian, di bagian bawah yang warna putih itu terdapat tulisan "Be happy everyday". Lalu, untuk kemasan lip tintnya, ia memiliki tube berwarna dusty pink bertekstur doff yang dilengkapi dengan nama produk dan tulisan "Be happy everyday" juga. Sedangkan, tutup tubenya sendiri berwarna putih. Hmm...kalau kemasannya doff gini, bakal susah buat melihat seberapa banyak produk yang terpakai, gak sih? Beda dengan adiknya, Emina Magic Potion yang memiliki tube transparan.

Kemudian, sisi kiri dan kanannya berwarna hijau tosca yang adalah warna ciri khas produk Wardah. Di kedua sisi ini, terdapat komposisi, logo halal, cara pakai, dan klaim produk. 

Aplikatornya berbentuk doe foot. Kurang lebih sama, ya, dengan lip tint atau lip cream pada umumnya. Aplikatornya smooth sehingga lip tint ini enak banget diaplikasikannya. Nah, sekarang kita bahas ingredients dan claimsnya, yuk!

Kalau dicermati komposisinya, lip tint ini memiliki beberapa bahan yang berfungsi untuk melembabkan, seperti shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, evening primrose oil, glycerin, dan allantoin. Dengan kata lain, lip tint ini tidak akan membuat bibir menjadi kering. Ini sesuai dengan klaimnya, yaitu:

"A healthy blushing cheek and lip without camera filter? Yes please!Thanks to Blushtensity Fit and 7 Natural Essence behind it."

Lip tint mengklaim hasil yang natural dan pigmented. Kemudian, lip tint ini bersifat moisturizing dan nourishing. Terakhir, Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint memiliki yummy fruity aroma. Soal aroma, aku suka banget sama aromanya, aroma buah yang segar dan lucu gitu hehehe. 

FORMULA AND TEXTURE

Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint memiliki tekstur yang cair tapi agak thick walaupun gak seberapa thick. Mungkin karena kandungan oilsnya yang cukup banyak? Oh ya, lip tint ini cepet banget meresapnya. Beberapa detik setelah aku aplikasikan, aku coba cium punggung tanganku, dan hasilnya? Warnanya sudah nge-stain dengan cantiknya. Pas diaplikasikan juga gak ada rasa-rasa lengket gitu. Ringan banget deh, di bibir!

SWATCH AND STAYING POWER

Ketika diswatch di tangan, aku sempat takut kalau hasilnya jadi menor banget karena warna pinknya cukup on point menurutku (ya iyalah, sesuai dengan nama shadenya hehehe). Tapi pas diaplikasikan ke bibir, hasilnya jadi natural. Untuk pengaplikasiannya, aku biasanya menotolkan tiga titik di bibir bagian bawah dan atas, kemudian aku ratakan dengan jari. Sedangkan, untuk dipakai sebagai blush on, aku akan menotolkan tiga titik di tulang pipi, lalu diratakan. Hasilnya adalah pink merona yang sehat. Sayangnya, sebagai blush on, warnanya tidak bertahan lama. Untuk ketahanan, di aku bisa bertahan kira-kira 3-4 jam. Kalau dibawa makan siang, lip tint ini cepat sekali hilangnya. Maka dari itu, harus touch up setelahnya agar selalu on point. Oh ya, walaupun Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint ini memiliki formula yang melembabkan bibir, sebaiknya kalian tetap pakai lip balm, ya untuk menjaga kelembaban bibir kalian.

Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint dibanderol dengan harga Rp 42.000,-. Produk ini bisa banget kamu temukan di toko-toko kosmetik dan e-commerce favorit kamu. Aku beli lip tint ini di Kece Beauty Store, Yogyakarta. Kebetulan pas aku ke sana, lagi ada diskon sehingga harganya jadi Rp 35.280,- aja. Harganya cukup terjangkau, bukan?

FINAL THOUGHTS

Ada beberapa kelebihan dan kekurangan dari Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint ini. Teksturnya watery yet thick, terasa ringan di bibir, aplikatornya nyaman, dan hasilnya pun natural. Sedangkan untuk kekurangannya, ketahanannya biasa saja dan tubenya yang doff cukup menyulitkan untuk melihat seberapa banyak sisa produknya. Juga, kalau dipakai tanpa lipbalm, bibir akan terasa kering. Tapi, overall, aku suka dengan lip tint ini. Apakah aku bakal repurchase lip tint ini? Hmm...belum tahu karena aku masih ingin mencoba lip tint merek lainnya.
